Ease of maintenance redefined.

The high performance cracking mill OLCC is the newest Bühler innovation for optimal oilseed crushing, extraction meal grinding as well as crumbling of feed pellets and multistage grinding applications. Besides the vast variety of applications, the OLCC also brings highest throughput rates, full automation control and an unrivaled ease of maintenance to the table.

A smart roller exchange technology*.

The OLCC comes with a revolutionary roller exchange technology, allowing for a roller replacement in under 2 hours per pair. This is made possible by disconnecting the roller shell from its shafts, thereby conveniently removing the roller shell from the machine. The bearings, pulleys and roller shafts on the other hand remain inside the machine. This not only protects the transmission assembly from handling damage, but also drastically reduces labor time and handling weight, all while minimizing bound capital in form of complete roller packs.

Smart and safe operation.

User-oriented design and a strong focus on ease of maintenance and operation lays at the heart of the OLCC. Large, removable service doors give the most convenient access to all drive components and reduce labor times. Automatic roller disengagement at plant or machine stops eliminates the need of cleaning the roller nip at start-up. Furthermore, permanent magnets and pre-tensioned disk springs safeguard the rollers from ferrous particles and foreign objects, thus ensuring continuous and reliable operation.

 
Smart development for the future.

An optional Smart Human Machine Interface (HMI) allows local and remote control over all key functions of the machine. This provides extensive automation and monitoring possibilities such as automatic throughput regulation or electronic roller gap adjustment and thus enabling full integration of the OLCC in your specific process and automation landscape.
